yup - same folks that hotshoe’ d it up here when that goof in a Cessna wandered into Airforce One airspace a few years ago. I believe they were the ones scrambled for that verified mystery UFO jet coming up the coast too. They have had an exciting few years...

My pilot friend said it was a mechanic. I guess they know how to run the planes and taxi them around. Flying an empty dash 8 is not that hard, the landing did not appear to be in this guys plans.

I’m kinda surprised we haven’t seen reports of sonic boom as they came up - they were full super sonic for the Air Force One incident. My boss at the time lived well south of Seattle at the time and heard them - didn’t realize what it was until later.
